Well Done Angel !

Good News Story!!!

All of our children continue to achieve fantastic things so we thought we would share a recent significant achievement. We are sure you will agree that this this is worthy of sharing.

Meet Angel.  Angel has lived with Chris and Christine for eight years and she is now starting university!

Angel wrote Chris, Christine and their family a letter reflecting on her time being part of their family.

“It feels so sad leaving the place I have called home for years.  Thank you so much. Honestly I can’t thank you guys enough for the effort you have put in to looking after me.  I wanted to tell you this in a letter as I’ll probably cry today

It’s been a long ride going from Primary to Uni, but I had 2 amazing carers by my side who cheered me on. It’s been a pleasure being a placement there and they feel like family and home”.

Angel’s letter went on to reflect on memories of holidays with her carers and their extended family, time spent with carers grandchildren and pets within the family.  Angel has reminded us of the impact carers wider family can have on children.  Connections we hope are longstanding for Angel and her foster carers Chris and Christine.
