We are proud to share some key highlights from our most recent Ofsted inspection report conducted between 2nd and 6th December 2024, where we maintained our “Good” rating in all areas.

“The leadership team, staff and foster carers promote a family culture.”

Children experience a strong sense of stability and permanency due to the nurturing and the therapeutic care provided by Foster Cares Ltd. Children are welcomed into the foster family and the wider family network, helping them feel valued and respected. Well-planned introductions, including personalised profiles of foster families, reduce the trauma of moving and support children to settle quickly into their new homes. One child said, “It’s amazing here. I am thankful that I came to liver here, and I wouldn’t change a thing.”

“The agency provides foster carers with good support and training.”

Foster carers benefit from robust training, regular supervision, and an effective out-of-hours service. The agency also encourages carers to attend support groups to reflect on their practice and gain knowledge , which enhances their ability to support children. This high level of support ensures placement, stability and helps children make good progress in their educational, health, and social development.

“Children’s overall health and emotional well-being are actively promoted.”

Children benefit from individualised care that supports their physical and emotional well-being. Foster carers are strong advocates for the children, working closely with professionals to meet their educational and health needs. Many children exceed expectations, with some progressing to further and higher education.

“Children feel safe and cared for in their foster homes.”

Supervising social workers visit children regularly, including twice-yearly unannounced visits, to ensure their safety and well-being. Children view their supervising social workers as trusted individuals and feel comfortable sharing their concerns. One child said, “They are amazing and will always listen.”
