It has been a busy and productive start to the year here at Foster Cares Ltd, and we have been working hard behind the scenes to support both our current and future foster carers.
We recently ran another round of our Skills to Foster preparation training – the first step for those beginning their journey into fostering. It is always a pleasure to meet new applicants and see their commitment to wanting to make a difference. A big thank you to Debbie and Louise for delivering the session. Louise continues to support our carers through every step of the process, offering guidance and encouragement along the way.
We are proud to say that our Foster Cares family is growing. Every new carer we welcome means another safe, stable and loving home for a child who needs one. That is why we do what we do. We are not just a fostering agency – we are a family. And seeing that family grow is something we are incredibly proud of.

We also hosted an Internet Safety session for our carers and staff. The session helped open our eyes to just how much data is collected through our devices and the importance of staying informed in this ever-changing digital world. A big thank you to Lee from Online Safety UK for delivering such a valuable and informative session.

And finally, we are proud to share some great news. After our Ofsted inspection in December, we are pleased to say we have maintained our Good rating across all areas. This result reflects the continued commitment and hard work of our team, carers and staff.
“The leadership team, staff and foster carers promote a family culture.”
“The agency provides foster carers with good support and training.”
“Children’s overall health and emotional well-being are actively promoted.”
