Child’s Concern for Dead Sealife Inspires Local MP to Respond

In an attempt to highlight the issue of the quality of the sea water one of our children has written to their local MP about a recent spate of dead sea life washing ashore on a local beach, seeking answers about the issue.

Moved by the letter, the MP responded promptly, acknowledging the child’s concerns, and providing an update on the situation. In the response, the MP shared that the local authorities and a group of scientists were investigating the issue and were working to determine the cause of the problem. They also thanked the child for their interest and encouraged them to stay engaged in environmental issues.

We would like to praise the child’s initiative and concern for the environment, this being a testament to the nurturing and supportive environment that we strive to provide for all the children living with our foster carers. Well done for making a difference in your community!

Our children are encouraged to express their thoughts and concerns, and we are proud of this child for taking the initiative to write to their MP about a matter they care deeply about.  It is important our foster carers continue to encourage our children to take an interest in their local community.  Our foster carers do an excellent job in supporting to make a positive impact on their community and the world around them.
