As summer comes to close, we want to take a moment to reflect on the meaningful experiences that have shaped our season. its been a summer filled with fun!
In keeping with our mission to support our local communities we proudly contributed to food banks helping families in need. It’s a small but meaningful part of our ongoing effort to give back and uplift those around us. We donated to both the North East Peterlee food bank and the North West Warrington Food Bank to ensure we covered both of our locations – We just want to thank all of our carers & staff who donated.
One of the highlights of our summer was the Party in the Park, where foster carers, friends, staff and their children gathered for a day of fun. From games and water activities to winning prizes, it was a fantastic event that brought smiles to everyone’s faces. A big thank you to everyone who joined us and made the day special!
We’re really proud of the young people who received their GCSE and A-Level results this summer. Whether they’re heading to university, sixth form, or starting their careers, their hard work has truly paid off.
It’s important to remember that grades aren’t everything. Success comes in many forms and everyone’s journey is unique. Our children’s effort and determination truly are fantastic. We also just want to give a special thank you to our foster carers who have supported and encouraged their young people throughout their education. Your dedication makes a huge difference to their lives and plays a key role in their achievements. We want to wish all our young people nothing but the very best as they take their next steps. No matter which way they choose to go.
This summer, we came together for a sponsored walk in support of Cash for Kids, a charity that helps disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Their work provides vital support to children who are living in poverty, have disabilities, or face neglect and abuse. By providing essentials like food, clothing, and educational resources, Cash for Kids ensures that young people in our local communities get the help they need to have a brighter future.
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the walk and to those who donated. Your support is making a real difference in the lives of local children. We’re proud to share that we raised over £610 for Cash for Kids.
We’d also like to say a special thank you to our owners for their generous donation, which helped make an even bigger impact for this important cause.

As we head into autumn and approach the winter holiday season, we’re excited about what’s to come. We’re committed to continuing our mission of making a positive impact in our local communities.
